MDT Launches the Fuzion, Fuzion Ti, and Razor Rifle Actions from Lone Peak Arms

MDT adds precision rifle actions to its product lineup for the first time with the launch of the Fuzion, the Fuzion Ti, and the Razor. All three come from Lone Peak Arms, the Utah Custom Action manufacturer MDT acquired earlier this year. The addition further extends MDT into nearly every precision rifle component.

Lone Peak Arms has built precision actions since 2014, earning its reputation among competition shooters, hunters, and custom builders for lightweight, tight-tolerance designs. All three models are built on the Remington 700 footprint, compatible with the widest available range of stocks, chassis, triggers, and bottom metal. An integral recoil lug holds the action rigid under recoil. A one-piece bolt, mini M-16 extractor, 75 and 90 degree throw options, and lightweight firing pin keep it cycling smoothly with consistent ignition.

The Fuzion is machined from 416R pre-hardened stainless steel to hold tolerance through a full competition season. An integral 20 MOA rail, EDM-cut raceways, and a side bolt release keep it accurate, smooth, and simple to maintain. It is offered in short action, long action, and 338 Lapua long action, with an Alpine Port option.

The Fuzion Ti is machined from 6AL-4V titanium to cut weight for backcountry and mountain hunters. A DLC-coated receiver and an integral 20 MOA split rail through the Alpine Port hold zero and resist weather on long hunts. It is offered in short action and long action, including a left hand long action.

The Razor is machined from 416R pre-hardened stainless steel with a pinned-and-screwed rail interface, allowing one action to run a full rail, a two-piece rail, or direct-mount rings. That flexibility takes it from a competition build to a lightweight field build without giving up stainless durability. It is offered in short action and long action.

"We are here to build a Legendary company," says Maarten Van Ruitenburg, MDT's CEO. "The next logical step towards that was adding precision rifle actions to our lineup. I have personally been building on Lone Peak actions for years. The smoothness in how they cycle has always stood out to me, working the bolt while staying on target becomes easy. That is the quality we want to put in front of more shooters."

The Fuzion, Fuzion Ti, and Razor rifle actions will be available starting August 7, 2026, through MDT dealers and at mdttac.com.
