Staccato 2011®, creator of the 2011® pistol platform and a leading developer of precision firearms, ammunition, and shooting facilities, today announced the addition of Jonathan Menocal as a brand ambassador and member of Team Staccato, a highly accomplished and carefully selected squad of competitive shooters and tactical professionals.

Menocal brings an extraordinary combination of competitive achievement, instructional expertise, and active-duty experience to the Staccato team. He holds the rank of Grand Master, the highest skill classification, in the USPSA Limited Optics, Carry Optics, and Open Divisions, and is a certified NRA and FDLE firearms instructor. In addition to his roles as an instructor at Menocal International Training, Menocal serves as an active member of the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office Special Response Team (SRT), an elite unit trained to handle high-risk missions and rapid critical incident responses.
"The way Jonathan bridges real-world law enforcement application, tactical instruction and elite competition is truly impressive and a great representation of the Staccato brand," said Max Michel, Vice President of Training & Competition for Staccato 2011. "He embodies the kind of shooter and professional that Staccato stands for, and we're proud to have him join the team."
Menocal joins a roster of some of the most decorated competitive shooters in the world. Team Staccato includes Max Michel, a multi-time World Speed Shooting and IPSC World Champion with more than 300 major wins to his name; KC Eusebio, a record-breaking 12-time World Speed Shooting Champion; and Michelle Viscusi, a highly accomplished competitor with High Lady wins at USPSA championships and a two-time International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) Limited Ladies National Champion, among others.
"Joining Team Staccato is an honor I don't take lightly," said Menocal. "I've built my career at the intersection of competitive shooting, instruction, and law enforcement, and Staccato is the only brand that performs at the highest levels across all three. I'm proud to represent that."
"We are not a traditional team of shooting professionals. Staccato brings together people with real-world operational experience and some of the best shooters in the world. That combination shapes everything we do," said Willem Driessen, chief marketing officer for Staccato 2011. "From the products we build in America to the training that develops greater confidence and shooting proficiency. It reflects our brand ethos: elevate the standard, pursue performance without compromise, and build for those who expect more when it matters most."
Staccato 2011, the originator of the 2011 pistol platform and the advanced 2011 HD platform, is trusted by elite law enforcement agencies, special operations units, competitive shooters, and responsible citizens across the country. Every Staccato firearm is purpose-built, rigorously tested, and crafted in Texas from American steel.
