The 2026 CMP National Matches wrapped with an impressive showing by Team Leapers. James Fox won his fourth National Service Rifle Championship title and second consecutive CMP championship using the Integrix Service Rifle Scope in a grueling 2400-point Aggregate shot over the course of 3 days. Together with the rest of Team Leapers – Conrad Young, Roy Mitchell, Nick Till, and Randy Olds – the team took home 8 national match wins and medals.
The CMP National Rifle Matches were held July 21 to 31 at Camp Perry, Ohio, with over 900 competitors from across the country shooting in the historical President's 100 Service Rifle match.
Team Leapers took first place at the National Trophy Rifle Team Match with a joint 6-man team consisting of U.S. Palma Team Head Coach, Captain, and decorated shooters Brandon Green, Bob Gill, Liam McKenna, and Justin Patton-Rynders. They won the largest class At-Large, with fellow Leapers' competitor Roy Mitchell's team from Ohio winning the Soldier of Marathon civilian trophy.
James Fox continued his streak to end the month, taking home the Alice Bull trophy for the highest score across the President's 100 and National Trophy Individual Rifle Match and coming in close second in the President's 100 match final shoot out, missing first by X's.
The award-winning Integrix iXF 4.5X28 Service Rifle Scope celebrated its first-year anniversary by returning to Commercial Row at Camp Perry, with Leapers attending for its fifth year in a row and sponsoring the national matches. All members of Team Leapers were using the Integrix Service Rifle Scope during the National Matches. The scope saw increased adoption by several competitors with multiple podium wins outside Team Leapers from U.S. Army Reserve Staff Sgt. John Coggshall and U.S. Air Force Captain Seth Carozza to name a few. The scope's quality, clarity, and reliability have quickly positioned it as a top choice for service rifle competitors.
