Derya Arms Makes Drop Shipping an Authorized Dealer Exclusive Beginning January 1, 2027

Derya Arms (South Derya Corporation) today announced a major new benefit for its long-standing Authorized Dealer Program. Beginning January 1, 2027, drop-ship fulfillment of Derya firearms and accessories through the company's national distributors will be available exclusively to Derya Authorized Dealers.

Derya products remain available to every licensed dealer nationwide through the company's four distributor partners: Sports South, Lipsey's, RSR Group, and Bill Hicks & Co., Ltd. Derya is a distributor-driven brand, and the Authorized Dealer network already covers more than 1,400 retail locations nationwide, putting a Derya Authorized Dealer within 100 miles of nearly every consumer in the United States. Stocking and warehouse orders through distribution are not affected by the program; the change applies to drop shipping only.

Drop shipping now carries a significant share of how firearms move from distributors to retail customers, and it is where a brand's presentation, pricing integrity, and customer experience are most exposed. The Authorized Dealer Program directs those orders through dealers who maintain a physical retail storefront and keep Derya product on the shelf — the dealers customers can walk into, handle a Derya firearm, and buy with confidence. The program protects those stocking dealers, strengthens Derya's Minimum Advertised Price policy, and ensures every drop-shipped Derya arrives through a dealer invested in the brand.

Drop-ship exclusivity joins the benefits Derya Authorized Dealers already receive:

What does a dealer need to do? Keep a physical retail storefront with regular operating hours and at least one Derya product on the shelf. That is the whole requirement. To start, a dealer can buy one Derya product through any of the company's distributor partners and put it on the gun counter; a photo of the product in-store accompanies the application. Dealers can apply now at derya.us/dealer-application.

"Drop shipping is where a brand is either protected or eroded. Moving it to authorized dealers puts those orders in the hands of dealers with a storefront and Derya on the shelf, and it protects the stocking dealers and distributor partners who are building this brand with us. The customer still gets the exact gun they want, from a dealer who stands behind it."

— Dustin Jones, Vice President, Derya Arms

Program timeline:

The program arrives ahead of an aggressive product roadmap. Derya confirmed a minimum of six new firearms for release by end of year, three of which are planned as high-volume models. "We plan to keep innovating and keep demand climbing," Jones added. "This program makes sure that demand lands with the dealers who represent the brand right."
