Youngsville, NC – SIGHTRON, one of the world's most innovative optical observation and aiming device companies, is proud to announce that they have added Michelle Carpentier to the SIGHTRON Shooting Team.
Carpentier comes to the SIGHTRON shooting team with a very impressive resume. At just 20 years old, she has already been competitively shooting for fourteen years. Her main passion is metallic silhouette competition as the sport has taught her discipline, patience, focus, and the importance of always working to improve. Some of her most recent accomplishments include becoming the 2025 Hunter State Champion in Hobbs, New Mexico. She was also the High-Power Sub-Champion in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and the High-Power Sub-Champion at the Louisiana State Championship in Zwolle, Louisiana that same year.
In 2026, she placed in the Top 10 at the Nationals in Ridgway, Pennsylvania, in both .22 Standard and .22 Hunter divisions, as well as Top 15 in High-Power Standard and Hunter divisions. All of these accomplishments were achieved while competing in the Master Class.
Outside of the range, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going out, and traveling. One of her favorite parts of the sport is traveling to competitions with her parents. These trips give them the opportunity to spend time together and visit new places.
