Team Beretta Athletes Delivers Strong Results At 2026 IPSC Pan American Handgun Championship

Team Beretta athletes delivered strong performances at the 2026 Pan American Handgun Championship, an IPSC Level IV competition held August 22-30 at the Wela Shooting Range in Savaneta, Aruba. Competing against top athletes, J.J. Racaza and Salvador Luna both finished among the top competitors in their respective divisions with the Beretta 92X Performance Carry Optic.

Racaza captured first place in the Production Optics division, earning the top spot after a week of demanding competition at the championship. Luna also posted a strong result for Team Beretta, finishing fourth in the Production division.

Both athletes competed with the Beretta 92X Performance Carry Optic, a competition-ready pistol engineered to deliver the speed, control and accuracy demanded by competitive shooters. Built on the proven 92 platform, the 92X Performance features Beretta's Vertec-style grip, an optimized trigger system, competition-oriented ergonomics and a steel frame designed to provide a balanced, controllable shooting experience.

"J.J. and Salvador both put together impressive performances against an incredibly competitive field," said Ricardo Olivieri, Beretta USA's Head of Luxury and Competition. "Their performances demonstrate the level of skill, preparation and confidence required to compete at the highest levels of practical shooting."

The 2026 Pan American Handgun Championship brought together more than 600 competitors representing 20 countries for 24 stages and 464 rounds of competition. As an IPSC Level IV match, the championship represents the highest level of IPSC continental competition. With two podium finishes at the 2026 Pan American Handgun Championship, Team Beretta continues to demonstrate the performance of Beretta competition pistols on the international stage.
