Fiocchi's Lanny Barnes Sweeps Three World Championship Golds; Dianna Muller Claims Silver at 2026 IPSC Shotgun World Shoot

Fiocchi Pro Staff members and brand ambassadors Lanny Barnes and Dianna Muller delivered extraordinary performances at the 2026 IPSC Shotgun World Shoot in Corinth, Greece, bringing home three gold medals and a silver medal from one of the most prestigious international competitions in the shooting sports.

Barnes achieved a remarkable milestone, becoming the first time in her career that she captured all three Open World Championship titles at a single World Shoot. She successfully defended her IPSC Ladies Open World Championship, helped lead Team USA to gold in the Open Lady Team competition, and capped off her championship performance by winning the coveted Open Ladies Shoot-off World Championship.

Muller added another World Shoot medal to her impressive international résumé, earning silver in the Open Lady Senior category and continuing her remarkable history of success against the world's best practical shotgun competitors.

The fifth IPSC Shotgun World Shoot brought together nearly 1,000 competitors representing 50 countries for 30 stages of competition over five days. With 303 competitors in the Open Division alone, the 2026 championship was the largest IPSC Shotgun World Shoot ever held.

For Barnes, the victory in Greece represents a defining moment in an already accomplished international shooting career.

Barnes arrived in Corinth as the reigning Ladies Open World Champion after capturing individual gold at the 2023 IPSC Shotgun World Shoot in Pattaya, Thailand. Faced with the challenge of defending that title against the world's best practical shotgun competitors, Barnes once again delivered, earning her second consecutive individual Ladies Open World Championship.

But she was far from finished.

Barnes also helped lead the United States to gold in the Open Lady Team competition, joining teammates Jacqueline Clary, Amerydel Reid and Allison Muggli atop the podium. The team victory marked another step forward from the 2023 World Shoot, where Barnes helped Team USA earn bronze, and the 2018 World Shoot in France, where the American Ladies Open Team captured silver.

Then came one final opportunity to add to an already remarkable championship.

In the highly anticipated shoot-off competition held at the conclusion of the World Shoot, Barnes once again rose to the occasion, claiming the Open Ladies Shoot-off World Championship and completing an extraordinary three-gold-medal performance.

The achievement marked the first time Barnes had captured all three Open World Championship titles at a single World Shoot, solidifying her place among the sport's most accomplished international competitors.

"Winning a World Championship is something you never forget but coming back and successfully defending that title makes this one incredibly special," said Barnes. "There is so much preparation that goes into a World Shoot, and when you step onto the stages, you know you're competing against the very best. To come away with three gold medals, including the shoot-off championship, is more than I could have hoped for. I'm incredibly proud of what we accomplished together as Team USA, and having complete confidence in my Fiocchi ammunition allowed me to focus on doing my job, executing each stage and trusting the work that got me here. I'm grateful for everyone who supported me along the way and honored to represent both Team USA and Fiocchi on the world stage."

While Barnes was making history in the Ladies Open competition, Muller was adding another chapter to her own impressive World Shoot career.

Muller's silver-medal performance in the Open Lady Senior category continued a remarkable record of success at the highest levels of international practical shooting.

At the 2015 IPSC Shotgun World Shoot in Italy, Muller earned individual silver in Ladies Standard while helping the United States Ladies Standard Team capture gold. She repeated both accomplishments at the 2018 World Shoot in France, again earning individual silver and team gold. Muller returned to World Shoot competition in Thailand in 2023 before making her fourth appearance at the championship in Greece.

Her 2026 silver adds another World Shoot medal to a career defined by consistency, longevity and an unwavering competitive spirit.

"Every World Shoot is special, and standing on the podium again while representing Team USA is something I'm incredibly proud of," said Muller. "The level of competition at a World Shoot is unlike anything else, and it takes preparation, consistency and confidence in your equipment from the first stage to the last. To come home from Greece with a silver medal after another opportunity to compete alongside the best shooters in the world means a great deal to me. I'm proud of the result, proud to represent the USA and proud to have Fiocchi behind me."

Barnes and Muller entered the 2026 World Shoot with impressive international résumés and considerable expectations. They leave Greece having added three World Championship gold medals and an individual silver medal to their collective accomplishments.

"What Lanny and Dianna accomplished in Greece is nothing short of extraordinary, and we couldn't be prouder of both of them," said Christian Hogg, Director of Marketing for Fiocchi of America. "Lanny's three gold medals, including successfully defending her individual World Championship, and Dianna's silver-medal performance are tremendous achievements that speak to their talent, preparation and unwavering competitive spirit. Both have consistently demonstrated what it takes to compete among the world's best, and their continued success is a testament to their dedication to the sport. Beyond their accomplishments on the podium, Lanny and Dianna are exceptional ambassadors for Fiocchi and the shooting sports. We are incredibly fortunate to have them representing our brand and Team USA, and we couldn't be more excited to celebrate their success."

Two Fiocchi athletes. Four medals. Three World Championship golds. And a world title successfully defended.
