Steiner Optics, manufacturer of precision, military-grade sighting solutions, has added the MPS 2.0 pistol sight to the company's recently launched Steiner Overwatch Program.
The Steiner Overwatch Program is a new initiative that offers special pricing on select Steiner products to qualified military, law enforcement, first responders, corrections, and judicial personnel. Now, Steiner includes its MPS 2.0 in the Overwatch Program's qualified product schedule.
The MPS 2.0 is an enclosed emitter micro red dot developed specifically for hard-use duty pistols. Built on a rugged, reinforced metal housing with a recessed protective objective lens hood and waterproof to 20-meter submersion, the MPS 2.0 offers reliable performance under the most extreme conditions.
Available with either a 2 or 3.3 MOA dot in eight illumination levels (6 day/night, 2 NV-compatible modes), the MPS 2.0 includes several key upgrades from the original MPS sight. These include an extended runtime of up to 90,000 hours, a magnetic battery cover for easier battery replacement, and larger brightness adjustment buttons that allow the user to quickly adjust settings to meet changing ambient light conditions — even when wearing gloves.
Qualified participants in the Overwatch Program can purchase the new MPS 2.0 through authorized Steiner brick-and-mortar retailers.
Qualified participants include:
- Active and retired sworn law enforcement officers (federal, state, county, and city)
- Active duty military, reservists, National Guard members, and retired military personnel
- Firefighters, including volunteer firefighters
- EMTs and paramedics
- Corrections officers, including parole and probation officers
- Judges, district attorneys, and deputy district attorneys
Dealers interested in becoming an authorized Overwatch dealer can contact Clinton Thornburg, Steiner Director of Law Enforcement Sales at cthornburg@steiner-optics.com.
